New media and new crime

Media today has evolved into a jungle so huge that it is often difficult to comprehend where, whats gone wrong.
Like everything else, media is turned into a digitalized and comprised network, where everything is moniterized by man-made brain,we are somewhere getting ignorant about the facts and figures. To see is to believe, no longer holds good, where every channel sensationalists and emphasizes on the not so necessary news, people are forced to draw a boundary around a fake manipulated world. One cannot not trust every other piece of information provided by a website, as corporatetisation ,corruption and manipulation has unfortunately taken our the new media. The media is prejudiced while representing the facts. They put their personal benefits into consideration before the news and sideline important facts. The falsification and crime in the cyber world can cause more than just trouble especially where it comes to official records, both government and private.Hacking is one of the most common traps, people can fall into and the damage sometimes caused by it are beyond repair.Piracy there again proves how well originality can be fake.Copyright violation too is yet another cause that drags people to court. The new media along with the strings of crime attached can turn out as a negative influence, especially children who face forgery and falsification from such a tender age.The illegal distribution of porn videos and drug sales is a clear indication of the vastness of the damage.Cyber pass and cyber vandalism now poses a threat to our very own presence as identity theft is something that anybody could face. Cyber terrorism too remains a global threat, keeping the current political situation in mind its never easy to differentiate between the other side of the story but rethinking and reevaluating is essential when it comes to voice our believes and opinions. We might face manipulated decisions or orders, the only thing we can do is to not overlook the minor details and loopholes.Crime today has a much more sophisticated definition as it all depends on the click of a mouse, hence it our responsibility to open our eyes and see beyond.
